BRN Extension

Inspiration

There are many extensions used in web browsers. It is a helpful tool and a great way to give us a reminder. For BRN Extension, we were inspired by several extensions that have supported people's daily lives to make it easier and prompt people to consider helping the community.

What it does

BRN Extension is a browser extension that increases and incentivizes micro-transaction funding through gamification.

How we built it

We used Figma to design the interfaces and FigJam to brainstorm ideas.

Challenges we ran into

Finding an idea that aligned with BRN's goals. Narrowing down feasibility according to finances and business structure. Working alongside limitations of extensions and different APIs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finishing up a project within 1.5 day!

What we learned

Designing within confines of development and business value. Scheduling and executing work asynchronously in a fully remote team. Creating an open space for ideas, contribution, and collaboration.

What's next for BRN Extension

BRN Extension has many possibilities, especially collaboration with other companies. There are opportunities to provide the community with coupons with partnered companies and give donors memberships to amazing perks. Subscription could also be an option for those who want to be provide continuous support and with the subscription, there can be rotating offers.
