Inspiration

An outside the box idea focusing on education and trust rather then all out privilege denial.

What it does

Uses learning modules to educate both parents and children of the harmful potential which can stem from misuse of AI and browsing technology

How we built it

Using codex and an OMLX locally run model to support front end and backend creation, with a full idea tree been created by myself

Challenges we ran into

creating a demonstration google extension which blocks the use of ai before completing a learning module,. this was rather hard and when needing to use chrome dev tools the situation had only become stickier, this was however overcome through perseverance and learning

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating opportunities for parents to build closer bonds with their children whilst having both parties be simultaneously educated

What we learned

Privacy control and parental restriction applications require much more techinical capability then initially expected, hahaha!

What's next for BrightPath

Can be turned into both a mobile and web-app which will power a greater understanding and increase the oversall safety of children across potentially the globe.
