Inspiration

During the pandemic, I noticed how many students struggle with understanding homework concepts, especially in underserved communities. Many don’t have access to tutors or personalized help, and standard online learning tools are often overwhelming. I wanted to create a solution that bridges the education gap and gives every student access to clear, step-by-step explanations.

What I Built

BrightBridge AI is a no-code web app built with Bubble, integrating OpenAI to act as a personal AI tutor. Students can paste their homework questions, get simple explanations, and receive practice problems. Features include:

Step-by-step explanations

“Explain Even Simpler” for adaptive learning

History of past questions

Progress tracking (streaks and total lessons completed)

The app uses Bubble workflows for logic, Bubble’s built-in database for storing lessons and users, and the OpenAI API to generate explanations and practice problems in real time.
