Inspiration

We took inspiration from Internet, where we found that there are lots of tech summarisers based on open ai. But we cannot find the same for Gemini. That's why we took the decision To build this type of apps with Chrome built in AI

What it does

This app summarises your text and gives lots of formatting features like bullet points, paragraph and qna. This app can also transform your QnA to flash cards such that it is easy for you to view all of them.

How we built it

We built this app with Using nextgs as framework ui with tailwind css and Chromes api for tech summarization.

Challenges we ran into

When we are starting, the challenges we ran into are such as: There is not lots of Documentation on chrome's api and also debugging the api.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Is the accomplished fully working app with chrome's ai. Is there lots of features that we have to work on But I know we can complete it.

What we learned

We have learned how a local ai model can be very helpful for a user in data privacy standpoint. We also learned how we can use chrome built in ai for our daily use cases and also for building apps that can help millions of users.

What's next for Briefly | sumarizer and flashcard builder

We will constantly improve this app and launch it to the public because I think it has lots of potential because of chrome ai that is built into every browser and no need of third party AI api.
