Inspiration

We started with just a secure password-timing manager. When we were coming up with ideas for information to put in, "favorite cheese" came up and we latched onto it for the rest of the application. Over time, we added more funny features. Brie is the favorite cheese of one of our members.

What it does

Our project is a login screen for a fake company. When you create your account, it saves the speed that you typed in your password. When you later go to log in, it checks the speed you type with the saved speed to determine if you are the same person. If you type at a different speed, it will not allow you in.

How we built it

Coded in C# in Visual Studio, using Windows Forms to create the UI, and saving each person's data using an SQL database.

Challenges we ran into

We initially had trouble getting Visual Studio to work for some of our members. We weren't sure how to integrate SQL into our project and tried one approach for a few hours before changing it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our design and that we got the SQL integration to work.

What we learned

We now have more experience with managing projects with Git. For two of us, this was our first time using Visual Studio, and most of us hadn't used SQL before.

What's next for Brie-themed Ultra Secure Password Timing

Spreading our Brie across the world. Defending against SQL injections, encrypting our data
