What it does

Our team created a user-friendly website designed to help young homeless individuals match their skills and experiences with job opportunities through a personalized survey system. Additionally, it includes a profile page that allows both the mentee (young individuals) and the mentors to view a user's experience, skills, contacts, and availability. There's also an upcoming events page that provides a list of events based on filters: time, location, and whether it is virtual or in-person.

Challenges we ran into

This hack was a learning experience for everyone on the team as we had minimal experience using Figma or Typeform. We ended up spending a non insignificant amount of time learning the strengths and limitations of these programs.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Not including the Board Fellow, our entire team is made up of freshmen with minimal project experience and this is our first hackathon, we are really proud of the fact that we made something functional and we feel could be genuinely beneficial to the community.

What we learned

Given we were working under time constraints, we learned how to work as a team effectively and efficiently by allocating each person’s strengths and weaknesses to specific tasks.
