Inspiration

The determination of vulnerable individuals to try to fight through the social discriminatory constructs that sometimes block them from achieving who they aspire to be.

What it does

BridgeBot connects entrepreneurs to the right tools and resources based on their personalized needs.

How we built it

The approach we took to construct this project involved visualizing how the chatbot would appear, guided by the questions we researched to determine the most effective way to address the diverse needs of entrepreneurs and provide them with resources tailored to their profiles.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered several technical challenges, including working with a language that not all team members were comfortable with. Implementing the OpenAI API posed some issues. The most challenging aspect was identifying a subject with sufficient data and determining how to structure relevant questions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We take pride in our overall concept of the project and its functionality. We genuinely believe that this could be integrated into companies whose clients or potential clients are entrepreneurs, as it instills confidence in clients that they are in capable hands.

What we learned

Throughout this project, we acquired knowledge about React, the language upon which our project is based. We also gained insights into the financial challenges faced by vulnerable entrepreneurs and discovered ways to help them achieve their aspirations.

What's next for BridgeBot

ideally, we would have had sufficient time to implement the OpenAI functionality more effectively, allowing us to provide more personalized responses based on each user's profile.
