Inspiration
Nowadays, the donation has been the most popular way for public charities, more people devoted themselves to the charity industry and trying their best to help those in need and pass on love and hope. However, not all charity programs are explained clearly, and not all donation details are being clarified, it makes it hard for people to learn about the charity program details and how it is working. Publish the donation details can help, in some ways, clarify some doubts, but it would be better if there is a platform that enables donors and donees to communicate with each other, and it could help them know where the donation money comes from and goes to.

2021 summer has been a tough period for Henan, China. The devastating rain had trapped tons of people in the floods. A lot of public figures and local businesses had donated money supporting this disaster. However, among these positive trending topics on Weibo, there was a negative one that a rapper called Draksun faked his posted donation screenshot, yet ultimately the public found that the "18k" donation was only 100 yuan.
Our Goal and Mission
Our team focuses on impoverished and underprivileged children especially left-behind children. These children's families usually have difficult economic conditions that often result in poor quality care for them. And the elderly who take care of them are uneducated which would potentially lead to. Our product's goal is to offer a 2B platform for NGOs with the 1:1 donation program and help to build a bond between the donor and donee in pairs. Our mission is, primarily making the young donees aware of the donor, who can be a specific object to be grateful for, and the donee can get to know more of the world and even set his or her life goal through the positive influences in the communication with the donor; secondly, making the donor aware of where the money goes, and donee's status and life.
Charity is not the way to help people to build up for their figures, but truly help those who need to be helped.

Challenges we ran into
- 由于不够了解贫困山区的状况,花费很多时间去确定如何建立良好且对孩童有帮助的沟通方法
- 因为最后选择网页技能栈,所以产品定义及布局需要部分重新考虑

项目初心-推广慈善公益
- 我们希望能通过Bridge建立捐赠人与接收人沟通桥梁,使公益项目更公开透明,公众对慈善捐赠项目有更清晰的了解, 从而愿意加入到慈善公益事业中
What we learned
We have applied the affinity diagram and design models into this project, which helped us organize our idea in a short time, especially breaking down to our users' essential and fundamental needs, and based on that to develop the human-centered design, that further generate relative features for them. Besides, we found that it is important to do user research and user testing before fully design a product. In this short period of time, only based on our limited knowledge and research cannot successfully create a well-thought product, but we have tried our best.
What's next for Bridge
- Create further features fully based on human-centered design that we cannot cover during this hackathon, and potentially finish the design and build our BRIDGE, to embrace and love the underprivileged children who should be valued the same.
