Inspiration:- My inspiration is my family members back home in "Nepal". My parents worked on their farm the whole life, due to this I think I know what are the problems of a farmer and what kind of challenges they face every day.
What it does: This app has speech recognition technology(Speech to text, text to speech) for those farmers outside of US who has a hard time understanding English, NFC technology(For login into the app, and also can be used for tracking farm products), A agriculture news portal( Where News that are important to farmers) and a Basic local market place for farmers to buy and sell their products to consumer.
How I built it: I built it using android studio(Java, XML) Firebase for database, Google API and many more other API
Challenges I ran into :- Finding an API for Agriculture related news, JAR FILES. Merging files, making modules
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: Of the final product how it can help farmers
What I learned : Teamwork and socializing is good
What's next for Bridge : Finding a job after I graduate in May
