1.4.0 is in App Review: Ascension in the first world becomes a one-time purchase

bricolang 1.4.0 was submitted to App Review on September 30, 2026. It has not been approved yet, and we can't tell whether it will be before the submission deadline, so for now the App Store still serves 1.3.0. Everything below describes 1.4.0.

ASCENSION IN ogn IS NOW A ONE-TIME PURCHASE In 1.3.0, Ascension was free in every world, including the free one. In 1.4.0, Ascension in ogn, the free first world, is sold separately as a one-time purchase through RevenueCat: ¥300 in Japan, where the price is set ($1.99 in the US). ogn itself stays free to play in full. If you used Ascension in 1.3.0, you keep it on the same device without buying. That record lives only on the device, so it does not follow you to a new device or a reinstall. In mss and ppa, Ascension comes with the world, as before.

WHERE TO BUY IT The purchase appears where Ascension begins. Once every palette piece is unlocked, a small dot appears next to the zoom-out control. Tap it, or keep zooming out past the limit, and a list opens with only ogn, the name "Ascension" and its price. Tap the price to buy; after that, the dot takes you up a level as before.

NEW STORE SCREENSHOTS The App Store screenshots are new for 1.4.0: one for each world, a newly coined word, an upper level, and the cards you can save.

FIRST PURCHASES The first real purchases came in on September 29, 2026: one customer in the US bought both mss and ppa, US$11.98 in total. No offer code was used.
