A Bricky RITchie Day

Inspiration

We have loved our time at RIT so far and we wanted to help educate people about all of the fun things going on here. We wanted to make a game that young children as well as potential future students could play.

What it does

This game will show people what a day in the life a a Computer Security Student is at RIT. It goes through the day showing parts of campus, what classes might be like, and giving general knowledge of RIT and some activities.

How we built it

We built A Bricky RITchie day with WIX.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the biggest challenges we ran into was connecting the code to the user interface.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is our first hackathon so we are both really proud of how much we were able to accomplish while also learning new things about WIX.

What we learned

We learned a lot about WIX, like how to use it, how to use the coding section to make different functions.

What's next for A Bricky RITchie Day

We would like to be able to create a more realistic game in the future. We hope to add more games that have more user input like drawing in the tunnels. We would also love to be able to put more student artwork into the game to showcase different majors.
