Bricked Elevators #RIT_life
We came up with our idea of "Bricked Elevators" when we were thinking of a fresh new idea, and realized one common thread in all of our lives: How often the elevators broke down in our dorms. How often we stood in front of the elevators taking bets over whether they were actually broken or extremely crowded (which probably means the other was broken). However, this guessing game is now unnecessary. With our system, students can report broken elevators and have an auto-completed FMS form sent to request maintenance, view the current status of the elevators, and get notifications when the status of their building's elevators change. Even though broken elevators at RIT are inevitable, we hope to mitigate the inconvenience that it causes.
