Inspiration

As students, we find the environment of a coffee shop to be calming and friendly. To many, it is also a place to socialize and relax after a stressful day.

What it does

Explore our coffee shop with a built-in pomodoro timer, talk to other customers on your breaks!

How we built it

We built brew using Unity and C#.

Challenges we ran into

This was our first time using Unity and C#, which was definitely a little intimidating, but we learned a lot in the span of a few hours!

What's next for brew

  • adding cool visual features such as an 'hourglass' visual for our timer, in the form of a mug with coffee slowly running out of it
  • implementing a simple dialogue system to allow for conversations with other customers (NPCs), as well as other mini games and activities that can be completed on breaks
