Inspiration

During SWE internship application season, we realized just how much effort we were making to get pings off of employers ATS: editing resumes, including key words, maybe even paying for SaaS to tell us our match rate for the job description.

We knew there had to be a better way.

Bresume.io, which stands for Better Resume, combines all of these actions into one; the keyword identification, analysis, and adapting of resumes to fit certain descriptions.

What it does

By using OpenAI's GPT natural language processing, we are able to identify the keywords within a job description, and edit sentences to include those keywords.

The webapp includes functionality to view your resume as a google doc within the site, select which bullets you want to be edited, which keywords should be included, and the ability to add keywords that might not have been identified.
