What it does

MemoryMist is a revolutionary PartyRock app that unlocks your brain's full potential through the power of personalized essential oil blends. You input what you're studying, why it matters to you, and when you need to recall the information. MemoryMist then crafts a scientifically backed blend of essential oils tailored to supercharge memory, leading to sharper focus, faster recall, and unstoppable productivity.

How I built it

I built MemoryMist by integrating the latest advancements in generative AI technology with evidence-based research on the cognitive benefits of essential oils. The app's intuitive interface allows users to input their study topic, motivation, and recall deadline, while advanced algorithms generate customized blends tailored to their specific cognitive needs and goals.

Challenges I ran into

One of the main challenges I faced was ensuring that the app's recommendations were based on credible scientific research. There are new studies out about specific oil's abilities to boost recall, focus, etc. but it's hard to rely on an LLM that may not have all the current information available. So some of the blends may not be as custom as I would personally like it but that can be improved upon.

I think there is a strong business underlying this concept. Personalization, hacking functions like recall/memory, scientifically backed outputs, and coupled with AI... thats pretty amazing. This concept could open a whole new world of memory. I could even see this branching off into a custom blend of smells to help you remember a cherished memory. I could be wrong, but this is a simple application of what could be a fantastic AI-driven product.
