We like games and wanted to create a game that we could play as a group.

What it does

allows you to have fun with friends

How we built it

The project was mainly developed through godot, with hand made sprites and textures through GIMP, Aseprite, and Procreate. We used Github to collaboratively work on the project and used no GenAI throughout the project develop process.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into were:

  • Becoming familiar with a new game engine
  • Collaboratively working on one github repository with 5 active contributors
  • Navigating networking limitations and communications between server and client
  • Effectively setting scope to fit within the time frame of the event

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to produce an end product that is playable and is something that we are proud of.

What's next for Breakneck Brewing

1) Fleshing out game systems and world to be more enjoyable and replayable 2) Fixing bugs and spaghetti code workarounds
