Right now, I have just finished the hackathon! I just wanted to leave a quick note here, stating that since my app is running with Render's free tier, it may take a few minutes to start up. This is not because of my code; a local instance will start up in seconds, rather it is because Runway rebuilds the instance every time a user logs in to their page. Please see this quote, thank you:
"Free instances spin down after periods of inactivity. They do not support SSH access, scaling, one-off jobs, or persistent disks. Select any paid instance type to enable these features."
