Nowadays, a huge number of people abandoned their usual lives besides their will. For some of them, this change was fatal.

Domestic violence. Two words, endless pain, fear, and despair.

Locked in the same house with an offender, women do not know where to go. There are so many services, hotlines, crisis centers, but where to find them? How to get out of this nightmare?

What it does

BreakOutBot contains relevant information about shelters, crisis centers, human rights organizations, and hotlines that are ready to help victims of domestic violence.

The information is structured into three sections:

General information – tips on how to deal with domestic violence, whom to contact, how to organize an escape, how not to panic, and so on.
All Ukraine – online resources, hotlines, and support services relevant to all of Ukraine.
Search by region – support points, broken down in accordance with four regions (North, South, West, and Center) and the three largest cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa).

Challenges we ran into

Information may not be relevant in some regions of Ukraine; this should also be taken into account.
