Inspiration

AI is all around us and people talk to AI bots every day. We were inspired by ChatGPT and Gemini AI to build our own AI Chatbot.

What it does

It is a site where women and minorities can interact with an AI Chatbot and learn more about FIU's story and how they can be more involved in tech programs.

How we built it

We built a website with HTML and styled it with CSS. We used Google Cloud's Dialogflow API for our chatbot. Code was shared on Github.

Challenges we ran into

We had never used Github for collaboration before so we had to learn how to use it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that our website is deployed on Github!

What we learned

We learned how to work with AI and how to incorporate an API into our code.

What's next for Break Through Bot

We hope to continue training our bot to understand more questions and prompts. We want our website to be hosted on the domain breakthroughbot.club rather than through Github.
