Bottomline at the top, smart people form groups to compete in global capital markets by exchanging information. Bread will provide them the information they need to consume daily and provide them weapons they need in collaborative conquest in the real world of capital.
Long story short. The applicaiton is my primary project and its goal is to help people find and evaluate stock investments using their(I hate to say it but) social network and statistical machine learning of public market data. Social validation of investment selection has existed offline for millinea and only exists online for angel list and professionals. Data sourcing requires a 25,000 dollar subscription to 30 year old bloomberg terminal with 30,000 propreitary functions or depency of consumer investing muck that spews out of the aggregators like YahooFinance(top financial web destination mind you).
Inspiration: Project management and business development for realtime ML apps for fintech and adtech companies showed me the state, power and exponentially decreasing complexity(thanks to apache spark) of putting an app or platform in production and deriving user value from handling data differently in entirely new contexts(logic on the server, served, virtually instantly, to any device) . Ionic simply made bringing a native mobile app to market with web dev a no brainer.
This is what I am here to build, am building and will continue to build after. I also have 2 securities licences and have worked on enterprise engagements with financial institutions, so I have domain experience handling regulatory hurdles.
