BraniacWiz Quiz Game is a decentralized application built on the Ethereum blockchain platform. This quiz game allows users to create and participate in quizzes while leveraging the security and transparency of blockchain technology. What it does
"BrainiacWiz" is a quiz game that allows players to test their knowledge across various topics while immersing themselves in a secure and tamper-proof gaming environment powered by blockchain technology. Players can compete with others globally, track their scores on a real-time leaderboard, and enjoy a user-friendly interface accessible to all skill levels.
How we built it
We built "BrainiacWiz" using a combination of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend development to ensure a seamless user experience. The integration of a Solidity smart contract and blockchain technology was crucial for storing quiz data securely on a decentralized ledger, guaranteeing transparency and data integrity. we also made use of GraphQL to query from the blockchain the users' transactions and display those on the front end alongside the list of collected NFT tokens
Challenges we ran into
One of the main challenges we faced was integrating the Solidity smart contract with the frontend to ensure smooth communication and data flow between the blockchain and the user interface. Additionally, optimizing the game for scalability and user engagement while maintaining blockchain security posed a significant challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of successfully implementing blockchain technology into a quiz game, creating a secure and transparent gaming environment for players worldwide. The real-time leaderboard feature and the diverse range of quiz topics have been well-received, enhancing the overall player experience.
What we learned
Through developing "BrainiacWiz," we gained valuable insights into the integration of blockchain technology with traditional web development, improving our understanding of decentralized applications and smart contracts. What's next for BrainiacWiz?
In the future, we plan to expand "BrainiacWiz" by adding more quiz topics, enhancing the user interface, and introducing interactive features to further engage players. We aim to continue refining the game's blockchain integration, ensuring a seamless and secure gaming experience for all users. Additionally, we will explore opportunities to grow the BrainiacWiz community and establish it as a leading platform for blockchain-powered quiz games. We also plan to make the winning tokens fungible and work on the mainnet instead of the testnet.
