Inspiration

As a creator who’s navigated the frustration of mismatched brand deals and unfair contract terms, I wanted to build a tool that levels the playing field. Too many mid-tier creators lack access to the data and resources big influencers have—SponsorMatch AI was born to fix that.

What it does

SponsorMatch AI is a comprehensive platform for creators to connect with relevant brands, get data-backed pricing recommendations, review contracts for unfair clauses, and track partnership payments—all with a seamless, visually engaging experience.

How we built it

We combined React for modular UI design with GSAP for optimized animations (prioritizing GPU acceleration). Chart.js brings demographic and pricing data to life, while IntersectionObserver ensures scroll-triggered effects are performant. We built in accessibility features (respecting motion preferences) and optimized for all modern devices.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing high-end animations with 60fps performance was tough—we had to implement object pooling for particle effects and throttle scroll events. Ensuring glassmorphism effects fallback gracefully on older browsers also required creative CSS workarounds.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a fully interactive demo experience with no login required, delivering smooth animations that respect accessibility settings. The platform’s mock data maintains real-world consistency, making it instantly usable for creators to test and explore.

What we learned

We mastered performance optimization for complex web animations and deepened our understanding of accessibility compliance for motion-heavy UIs. We also learned how to translate creator pain points into intuitive, data-driven tooling.

What's next for this project

We plan to add direct creator-brand communication features, integrate real-time social media analytics, and roll out a brand-facing dashboard for campaign management. We’re also exploring mobile optimization for on-the-go creator access.
