📖 About the Project Braj Darshan was born out of a deep love for the sacred land of Vrindavan and a vision to bridge spirituality with modern technology. Every year, millions of devotees and tourists come to Braj, seeking divine connection — but many wander without knowing the true leela significance, temple history, or the hidden jewels of saints’ dwellings and divine spots.

Inspired by my own experience of visiting Vrindavan and feeling both awe and a lack of direction, I realized how a single app could become a spiritual GPS, a storyteller, and a devotional companion.

🌿 What I Learned Deep research into Braj Bhoomi’s geography and history, saints, festivals, and parikramas.

Designing user-centric features for both young tech-savvy users and elderly pilgrims.

Mapping routes and integrating rich multimedia like audio guides and interactive maps.

Understanding the importance of preserving cultural authenticity while adding tech layers.

🔨 How I Built It I started by mapping key spiritual locations and gathering historical and scriptural content about each.

Designed the app in React Native to reach both Android and iOS audiences.

Used Firebase for real-time content management and push notifications (for live events).

Integrated Mapbox to provide smooth parikrama routes and temple guides.

Built an admin panel to easily add/update new temples, saints, and events.
