To help other identify if they have mental diseases using mondern day QEEG screening techniques and help doctors not over diagnose drugs for people that do not need it.
What it does
Using Muse it measure Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, and Theta waves and using our program we detect any anomalies in these waves by stimulating the brain in different ways.
How we built it
We used raw EEG data processed through a python script to record and analyze brain waves of the test subject while he or she is being stimulated
Challenges we ran into
Getting the Muse to successfully connect to our computer and finding actual raw data for brain waves that is released to the public.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Learning new languages and overcoming the challenge of sucessfully having the output of the Muse get recorded to an OSC server that processes the data.
What we learned
We learned how to develop Spark API properly, work with android applications, and work with servers to record data from external applications.
