Inspiration
Our main inspiration was creating a one-stop app for students to study efficiently with the help of AI.
What it does
Our AI-powered study tool will use machine learning algorithms to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
How we built it
BrainWaive was built with Google Cloud Services, Firebase, Flutter, and Python
Challenges we ran into
One of the largest challenges we needed to overcome was integrating our Google Cloud Functions with our Flutter applications, there was also a large learning curve when it came to figuring out how to build a database in Firebase/Firestore.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of our design, our resource management, both our front and back-end code. We're also extremely proud of creating an application that could help students globally.
What we learned
We learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility distribution and time management. We also learned the importance and complexity of storing and running code in the cloud.
What's next for BrainWaive
We hope to distribute BrainWaive on more platforms to make it more available to students in a production environment. We want to make our code and infrastructure more permanent and adding features that will help students at MSU.
