Inspiration
Predictive markets like Kalshi and Polymarket inspired the enhanced gamification of the project. UI for modern FinTech mobile apps also inspired the frontend, aiming to bring that level of seriousness to an otherwise less serious concept.
What it does
It allows people to play Clash Royale and put money on the outcomes of matches, with integrations for Phantom, a widespread wallet provider.
How we built it
Self teaching, beginning by toying with Anchor and Rust, making a CLI MVP, then expanding upon the Python exterior until it could become a standalone app with Flutter frontend.
Challenges we ran into
I don't know Rust or Flutter
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I think I learned a lot about Rust and Flutter
What we learned
See above, but I also believe that I learned a lot more about the inner workings of the blockchain than I previously understood, now seeing it at a granular level, and understanding the nuances of even the smallest operations.
What's next for BPointBet
This was fun to make, I am hoping to expand upon this, maybe working in some additional API endpoints, at least for other Supercell games, and perhaps a few popular others.
