Inspiration

This project is aimed to deploy a money transfer application using a blockchain network based onthe Hyperledger platform.

What it does

it enables final users to issue money transfers via banking instituions. All exchanges between different entities involved in the transaction is reigstered within the blockchain network taking benefits from its intrinsic benefits.

How we built it

Hyperledger Fabric is a platform for distributed ledger solutions delivering high degrees of confidentiality, resiliency, flexibility and scalability. It is designed to support pluggable implementations of different components, and accommodate the complexity of the existing economic ecosystem. This project is based on the v1.0 version of Hyperledger. You need to deploy Hyperledger Fabric nodes. Each node offers API interfaces in order to interact with the blockchain network.

There is a real deployment of blockchain nodes, there is also a viable business model behind the technology and promising perspectives

What we learned

Hyperledger more and more, cross border Banking transactions and the limits of the traditional model

What's next for Bpay

Find a Banking institution, becoming partners and go together through a large scale roll out and test the network behaviour with actual Banking transactions.
