Inspiration

I joined a CrossFit gym and noticed their tech was still in the 90s. Given CrossFit's explosive growth, it seems like a great opportunity to make an impact in a lot of people's lives.

How it works

Each gym member creates an account with a credit card on file. He uses that account to schedule classes, book training sessions, and pay automatically.

Challenges I ran into

Back then, I could not write back-end, and it was difficult to find someone interested in helping me build it without a salary.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The design is extremely simple, from the sales page to the actual application.

What I learned

Enterprise products are more about sales than having an awesome product

What's next for BoxKit

I abandoned it for another project :)
