Inspiration

I was building a chatbot for a business on Messenger and i got idea to build a chatbot of search engine

What it does

Just enter the name of the personalities, countries that you want to get information about or other information you want and the API returns information for you

How we built it

we have done a scraping on wikipedia.

Challenges we ran into

how to find a general structure to retrieve information based on search word

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we found a structure to retrieve information and a technique to offer a suggestion when the search is not precise

we learned how to scrape and manage promise with js

What's next for sharkbot

Handle the case sensitivity problem, improve the retrieval of information by making a summary, improve the result of the suggestion and create an interface for sharkbot.Currently search results are in French, we are working to extend to other languages ​​starting with English
