Inspiration

We wanted to keep the project similar to the themed of the hackathon. So we decided to create a game that was space cowboy related.

What it does

So unfortunately the game does not fully work, but it displays the table of bounties that you need to hunt another table of the barracks and the current state of every single one of them (if they're injured or not)

How we built it

So we ended up using React JS for both the front end and the back end part of the game since by using another language for the backend part, the values would not update onto the website.

Challenges we ran into

Some of the challenges that we faced was the react website to work overall, as the values would not update in the game. Another challenge that we had faced

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're mostly proud of how we managed to get the front end (and sort of the back end) part of the game despite the little amount of time we had.

What we learned

We had learned how to use and implement React JS onto our projects and create a game out of it. At the start of the event, most of the members in our group did not know anything about React and how to use it. Another lesson we learned was to stick to a less difficult idea and be very committed it. At the start, we wanted to create an AR app, but we then scrapped that idea after we had some difficulties setting it up.
