Inspiration

Planning the perfect trip can be overwhelming, especially when you’re unsure where to find reliable advice. We wanted to create a solution that connects travelers with experienced explorers to get curated, trustworthy travel plans. Inspired by community-driven insights and blockchain’s transparency, Bountrip was born.

What it Does

Bountrip is a platform where travelers create “bounties” for custom travel itineraries. Using NEAR blockchain, travelers reward contributors for submitting personalized trip plans, ensuring instant and secure payments. Through Bountrip, users benefit from authentic, crowd-sourced insights while contributors earn rewards for their knowledge.

How We Built It

We built Bountrip using the NEAR blockchain to manage bounties, payments, and rewards. A seamless user experience was crafted using MyNearWallet for secure wallet connections, while our front-end wizard guides travelers in creating bounties, setting rewards, and receiving submissions. AI-powered suggestions personalize trips further by matching user interests with relevant destinations and activities.

Challenges We Ran Into

Implementing smart contracts to ensure instant payouts required careful design to maintain both security and ease of use. Creating a smooth UX for both bounty creators and contributors was also challenging, as was balancing the integration of real-time data and AI recommendations.

We’re proud to offer a truly transparent, efficient platform that connects people through travel, using blockchain to foster a trusting, collaborative community. The NEAR smart contracts provide instant, reliable payments, which build confidence between travelers and contributors.
