Bothack 2020 project

Inspiration

We wanted to make something that could help people during quarantine from covid 19. Since home cooking was becoming more popular, we thought it would be a great way to get people started and allow seasoned cooks to hlep as well.

What it does

It is a search engine for food.

How I built it

We built it using Nodejs and an API called spoonacular.

Challenges I ran into

Having a data base for community submissions and being able to search through it.
