Prompt #2 inspired us because, in this modern world, it is hard to learn and gain information about plants. Plants offer a wealth of fun facts and with our AR system, we can make this learning experience interactive. Overall, we want to help educate about plants so that today's generation understands the extent of how they help everything around them.

The web app scans a chosen barcode and displays information about a certain plant.

We built this web app by using the A-frame and AR.js libraries in conjunction with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The models were made in TinkerCad.

A challenge we encountered was being able to make the 3D models clickable in a radial position.

Learned how to apply our technical skills to plant and biology-related applications. We also learned different coding techniques and perspectives. Our team applied our soft skills such as communication and patience professionally and respectfully. Overall we learned to push ourselves and accomplish what we put our minds to.

We hope to create more barcodes for various plants and use them all over the Husdon Alpha Campus to educate visitors and guests about native plants.
