Botanical vs Culinary

Inspiration

I think that the differences between the culinary and botanical differences between different kinds of edible plants are pretty interesting.

What it does

It uses logic to classify different edible plants as botanical/culinary fruits, vegetables, and nuts,

How we built it

It was my first time writing a s(CASP) program and my first time working with prolog so it was a simple program. I just wrote it in prolog and used s(CASP) on it.

Challenges we ran into

As stated earlier, this was my first time working with Prolog, s(CASP), and AI principles in general. I have no prior experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I managed to get it working so I feel pretty good.

What we learned

I learned the fundamentals of prolog and common sense reasoning.

What's next for Botanical vs Culinary

Allowing the user to enter their own edible plants and their characteristics then use that information to classify those plants.
