Inspiration

MLH AI/ML Hackathon gave me the opportunity to learn more about the development features of Discord and that's how Bot9078, a Discord Bot came into existence.

What it does

It interacts with the users to reply to some general questions

How we built it

I built it using the help of Discord Developer features and I used Python to add responsiveness to the bot

Challenges we ran into

When starting at first, it took me few attempts to put up the bot in the server but when it was implemented, it was not responsive so I added a python file that helped to provide responsiveness to the bot. When running the code, I got some errors related to intents and then I changed few of the settings and finally, made the bot work successfully

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have gained the knowledge of how to build a Discord Bot and how to add responsiveness to the bot using Python

I learned how to build a discord bot

What's next for Bot9078

I am hoping to make the bot ultra-responsive by working on its Python code
