Inspiration
Inspired by Spark AR itself, which always provides me opportunity to create innovative and out of the box AR execution. I want to use Spark AR in advertising industry.
What it does
It is a Fixed Target Image based execution. The execution is created for redbull advertisement campaign. The concept of the campaign is to scan the redbull logo from the poster and enjoy a free drink. I have tried to make a highly energetic execution, as per their slogan. User have to scan Redbull logo from a poster, computer screen or from a redbull can, to transform it into a flashy dance floor with the bot dancing on the beats. The music can be changed by tapping Music icon/button in the execution.
How I built it
I have used a mixamo 3D character and imported it into spark. All the animations,inter-activities and logic, achieved by Patch Editor in Spark Patch view editor. No custom script is used. For music loops I have taken non copyrighted music and modified it in Adobe Audition to create the loops.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest challenge was obviously to create high tech model and effects well within 4MB file size.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of the final outcome. I can take this execution to my clients and can win the campaign.
What I learned
I learned a lot technically for using different patches for creating great animation effects.
What's next for Bot on the floor
Bot on the floor is definitely a great addition to my AR portfolio. Now I can convince advertisers with confidence, to spend in AR for their ad campaigns. I will continue my efforts for creating engaging and outstanding AR filters for advertising industry.
