Borrowed Time

Inspiration

The project “Borrowed Time” was born from reflecting on how time has become the scarcest resource in contemporary life. I drew inspiration from cyberpunk dystopias but aimed to give it a personal vision: a world where time is stolen and resold, and rebellion becomes the only act of freedom.

This simple equation captures the essence of the concept: time cannot be reduced to a tradable value.

What I learned

Through this project, I learned to:

• Use AI not only as a technical tool but as a co-creator for visuals and narrative.
• Integrate consistent characters to keep the protagonist coherent across images and video.
• Build a rapid production workflow, combining AI generation, editing, and sound. * * *

How I built it

1. Ideation – Structured a three-act narrative, divided into short 5–10 second scenes.
2. Character design – Defined Orin with detailed traits to ensure consistency across AI generations.
3. Visuals – Cyberpunk environments and surreal time glitches generated with AI in particular platform DZINE AI, fal
4. Sound & Voice-over – Electronic soundtrack with Producer.ai and narration produced with ElevenLabs.
5. Editing – Assembled all clips, synchronized with narration, and adapted to contest rules for timing and format.
