Inspiration

We use Arch Linux and the AUR and pacman are amazing tools

What it does

It's a package manager that allows for users to upload pre-compiled packages to the repos, letting other users install, update, report, and remove the packages, reducing compilation time for users as well as reducing the pain of failed compilations

How we built it

Neovim, php, bash, python, and caffeine

Challenges we ran into

Uploading files using php is quite the interesting task. Syntax is goofy, and so is bash's

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a fully functional package manager capable of installing, updating, removing, uploading, and reporting packages

What we learned

Php is a funny language with funny syntax. We learned a bit more about the inner workings of packages on Linux. We also learned how websites work better as well.

What's next for bopirruu

We'll improve it, make it faster and safer for users, as well as add more features, like an advanced search for cli.
