Inspiration
As a child, we loved playing Bop It! However, it is socially unacceptable for anyone over the age of 10 to play regular Bop It!, so we created a more "sophisticated" version.
Also, we just wanted to learn Arduino.
What it does
Users can "Cover It!" using a photoresistor, "Press It!" with a button, and "Flip it!" with a switch. A light will flash corresponding to the action the gamer needs to take, and if the user makes the correct move then a confirmation LED will flash, indicating the user's sucess.
How I built it
We used the Arduino Uno starter kit and multiple sensors. We looked at Arduino tutorials online to understand how to wire the breadboard and code the program.
Challenges I ran into
The main challenges were my sleep-deprivation and lack of knowledge about hardware and software, but we were able to overcome this using online resources and the collaboration among our team.

What's next for Bop It! Arduino
We plan on incorporating more sensors into Bop It! Arduino v. 2.0, to spice up the game and make it more challenging for users.
