Inspiration

The UGA Hacks Mascot is really cute and I wanted a fun simple game to become the project.

What it does

You fly as a The UGA Hacks Mascot in space until you run out of fuel and lose.

How I built it

Used self-learned unity experience to build the game.

Challenges I ran into

Changed projects multiple times giving us approximately 7 hours of development time and to get more experience with Unity. Drawing pixel art is time-consuming. Ran out of time so we could not implement fuel pickups and enemies. Sprites were made yet no implementation :(.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The game runs and boosting animation is quite good.

What I learned

How to work under a time crunch and really could see what progress I could make in just a short amount of time. This gives me a lot of confidence that I will be able to move on from this project and make something that is truly a unique and exciting experience.

What's next for Booster Pup

I am going to upgrade him adding pickups and enemy AI to make the game more fun and difficult.
