Inspiration

As sports enthusiasts, Mathilde and myself experienced first hand the impact of COVID on the sport sector. Friday, when we discovered the hackathon, we decided to brainstorm a potential solution. We quickly came up with the project to build an integrated platform.

The problem we aim to solve Sport Coaches with the closing of studios, freelancers have to move their activity online to maintain a revenue. Their challenges : setting up their business in a fast changing & uncertain environment, while juggling with all the technologies (tools, social media, …) Members with the confinement, it’s hard to stay healthy & keep social interactions. Their challenges : as they turn to online tools for solutions, they get overwhelmed by the amount of content and channels in front of them. It is called digital pollution.

What it does

Our solution ELEVATE is an integrated platform which provides centrally all functionalities needed for sport coaches to drive their business, and for members to follow qualitative & interactive sport sessions: session scheduling, set up memberships, manage members, purchase & payment your subscriptions, integrated live streaming, search engine, visualize key data & reports, ...

How we built it

Building the platform is Work In Progress ! We have designed an initial version of Product Requirements, and built a prototype which mixes devs & mock ups. This is only the first step of the project, we need to go further to make this platform become reality

Challenges we ran into

We need to onboard key users to define the right MVP We need more time to build all the key features we have in mind, as well as additional technical expertise and skills (QA, SRE, Infra, Data)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

In one weekend, we gathered a talented team and built a prototype, as well as a very clear business model and roadmap with next steps. We are proud to have reached so far that we have proven ourselves that our idea can actually become reality. We also realize now the full potential of our project, during and after the crisis.

The platform is also scalable and extendable, our imagination is the only limit Partnerships eg. Fitbit Add on for real time data about members in live sessions & adapt session accordingly New categories eg. personal coaching, nutrition, life design workshops, group therapies, support groups, …
