Inspiration

With Doctors and medical staff always on the frontline of such medical outbreaks, we need better protection measures to equip our medical fighters to prevent such outbreaks from happening and keeping them safe from unknown invisible danger. (The doctor who detected corona virus died because of it.) So to prevent such incidents from happening we should evolve our masks to next level.

What it does

So all the mask present today as passive mask providing protection with a passive measure, its like stopping people entering in with a barbed wire fence(which people will cut and comein), so instead of passive protective measure, If we kill all the pathogens in the air that we breathe then we can provide ourselves with a better and more advanced protective gear. its coupled with a redundant protection mechanism to ensure reliable operation.

How we built it

Still in the design phase but this would be realized with 3d printing the mask and assembling all the required protection mechanism into it.

Non-availaibility of required materials because of countrywide lockdown in India.

What we learned

That we as a human race are event triggered species, if we are to truly survive for a long time, we need to pro-actively evolve all of our methods to make this earth a better place, in one such attempt we are trying to evolve the first line of defence for the medical staff and for people in general, to stop such outbreaks to happen we need to secure our breathes with a safer and reliable mask solution.

What's next for Boon

Final designing and Lab testing for killing efficiency of the germs, also start mass production of device to provide protection to the doctors and nurses fighting directly with this deadly enemy.
