Boomer Remover

Inspiration

I saw my grandma failing to perform typical computer functions and I wanted to help her. Many people of older generations have a harder time figuring out how to complete tasks on a computer.

What it does

The program will notify the users on ways to save time by showing tips whenever an inneficient method is used to copy+paste, print, create a new folder, e.t.c.

How we built it

Using pthon, powershell, and vsco.

Challenges we ran into

The program wasn't running in powershell for some users so we changed to visual studio code and it worked.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to use figma and create a good prototype of our project.

What we learned

How to use python libraries and how to tell whether a user is pressing a certain input using python.

What's next for Boomer Remover

Adding more features like printing tips, folder tips, finish the implementation of the copy paste tip. We may even add voice to text features to allow people with disabilities or people who have a hard time typing to be able to use a computer.
