💭 Why I Made This

I’ll be real with y’all: I’m a book lover — but a selective one. I’ve read just around 12 books so far, mostly fiction. Not because I don’t want to read more — I do — but physical books are expensive, and I prefer flipping real pages over scrolling eBooks.

But here’s the thing: Even if I’ve read just a dozen stories, every one of them has lived in me far longer than it took to read. I feel books deeply — and often, they come alive through music.

🎧 When Books Sound Like Songs

One of my favorite things to do is pair books with songs — scenes with melodies, characters with lyrics, arcs with moods. Like Powerless by Lauren Roberts — I had Yad by Erika Lundmoen (the English cover by Vana Rainelle) on loop, imagining edits of Kai and Paedyn in my head. Literal movie trailers. Emotional chaos.

That turned into a habit. I made playlists for every book I loved. Then I went looking for more.

But most AI tools and platforms didn’t get what I meant when I said: “I want a book that feels like ‘Espresso’ by Sabrina Carpenter.”

They’d recommend a story about a barista or a café — but I meant the vibe: The tempo. The sass. The aesthetic. Even sad lyrics can become joyful with the right rhythm. It's about emotion, not just plot.

So... I stopped asking.

💡 Then Came Bolt.new

A few days ago, I was just goofing around with ChatGPT (aka ChatGuy™) when he suggested some coding platforms. I landed on Bolt.new.

At first, I wanted to make a game. Didn’t vibe. Then I saw the One-Prompt Challenge. My instinct said: “Challenge accepted.”

So I sat down, poured my soul into one long, passionate prompt… and BookTunes was born.

It was like a simple dummy template at first but I was excited! After many different tries , I finalised one and posted on my X account, since there wasn't much time left to submit. But finding that Today was available , I completely changed and upgraded BookTunes for good with Bot.new buddy ^^.

IT WAS ... JUST..AN EXPERIENCE! I KEPT CHECKING THE DEADLINE EVERY NOW N THEN THE WHOLE DAY !!

**I was just chilling after making the changes n everything , when the "Bolt is free All Weekend" n all my tokens were completed. I was checking through all the other hackathons and Boltdotnew's X account , when I realised...there wasn't the "Built by Bolt.new" badge on BookTunes. And since then (afternoon) ....I've been through my project and Bolt and Github repo for the badge like crazy!! I though that the badge will be automatically given to my project since I made it with Bolt.new itself (silly me +_+).

But BOY WAS I WRONG!! So , - First - Bolt.new wasn't free anymore. Second - I didnt have any tokens. Third - I believed that since I didn't have tokens and No tokens = No Bolt , that I can't create a new folder ( as Public for the badge to be added) nor add the badge file to it even if it was accidentally created. I literally tried EVERY WAY possible , but nothing worked and the tokens for my other AI buddies were exhausted too ( by providing a silly me with suggestions n plans).

Then I realised , as they say , that only diamond can cut diamond. So, I asked Bolt.new from my other device on how to do magic n save myself , and shared all the struggles n silliness. And it just replied " Well, no tokens doesn't mean no new files , u can create by this command --".

Dayum...
