We have created mobile web-app prototype designed to reduce the amount Tee time slots that go unsold in a given day. We have done this by focusing on reducing the restrictions getting in the way of golfers who want golf, and integrating additional contextual and social media data in order to further change the model from one where users look for tee times, to one where the right tee times do then.

By expanding the golf-booking experience with social media platforms like facebook, we are also creating opportunities to expand the sales of tee times outside of current customers.

We've taken the current golfnow api and added in extra layers for pushing out tweets, retrieving tweets by location, sending and receiving SMS, collecting weather information in the future, sending marketing emails.

We believe this platform will enable GolfNow to expand into a world of social golf, where transactions are fluid and your growing user base are delighted

We were inspired by the challenge of finding ways to decrease unused inventory. We were told that 70 percent of Tee times are booked within 48hrs and 40% of them were booked same day. We wanted to create an app that integrates with various social channels and new data sources to make booking times and registrations quicker and easier to do.
