BookNest

Inspiration

Personally, I have always wanted an app to track my books for me without me getting lost in between which inspired me to make an app which solves these issues.

What it does

It acts as an efficient book tracker, tracking user's reading progress and acting as a book history log with user friendly features and recommendations.

How we built it

I used flutter and dart as a base of this app to ensure it is able to run on multiple operating systems with the intention to make it as accessible as possible.

Challenges we ran into

making the perfect and most simplistic and easy to use interface was a difficult thing to achieve

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This is an app that works on all devices and enhances every reader's experience

What we learned

Main thing that I learned was to never underestimate the mistakes a human can make. I made many silly and logical mistakes on my way and the key to achieve a functioning app is to keep learning and stay humble.

What's next for BookNest

I plan on extending the feature list and allowing a little bit of something for everyone to make user's reading experience more comfortable.
