Inspiration
I love to read books. Whenever I hear a about a book(whether new or old),my immediate instinct is to go online and gather as much info about it as I can. This was a major inspiration behind BookisH, which could help me with my favorite hobby.
What it does
Gives you valuable info on books and authors
How we built it
Front-end with streamlit backend with gemini-api using the model:gemini-1.5-pro-latest
Challenges we ran into
At the moment it's a simple project,so most of the challenges I faced were regarding the implementation of the code outside of the google studio. some implementations were a bit different.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That it is very knowledgable(without my help) and answers in detail!
What we learned
I learned the implementation of gemini-1.5-pro-latest ,it was my first time using gemini-api and I liked it!
What's next for BookisH--your smart reading assistant
It's a basic prototype so there is quite a room for addition: 1.Functions could be added to make it more resourceful. 2.Database integration could also be included. 3.Vision could also be added to maybe make it process visual input, for now it is responding to textual input.
Built With
- gemini-api
- python
- streamlit
