Inspiration
According to a recent survey, it takes an average of eight minutes for a patient to schedule a doctor’s appointment through a phone call. What if we could do that as quickly as ordering an Uber or pizza and not have to spend another eight minutes if we need to reschedule
What it does
Providing a web-based or mobile app so that anyone can book a doctor appointment and through Multi channels i.e., chatbox, WhatsApp, Facebook messenger
How we built it
Using PEGA case management for complete life cycle Used PEGA Facebook component for Facebook Integration Vanilla PRPC Rules SMS using connect Rest functionality for sending messages to the user post appointment Sending emails using PEGA OOTB
Challenges we ran into
Integrating with WhatsApp, where the team was not aware of how to Integrate the application with WhatsApp. However the team were able to research & identify the required rules for Whatsapp integration and this is considered as a Learning for the Team
