Most AI chatbots end the conversation with "someone will call you back." Booked ends it with money in the account.

Booked is an AI sales agent for local service businesses. A homeowner messages at 9:47 PM with a dead AC. The agent qualifies the lead in three questions, then drops a PayPal button directly into the chat. The homeowner pays the $89 diagnostic deposit by card — no PayPal account, no app, no friction. The capture callback marks the booking paid and the owner dashboard updates in real time.

The commerce story: The deposit is everything for local trades — it kills no-shows, qualifies serious buyers, and turns a midnight message into confirmed revenue. The integration uses PayPal's Smart Buttons (client-side, PCI-compliant), verified end-to-end in the sandbox with a captured $89 payment (order ID on screen in the demo) before a single frame was filmed. Every deposit is tied to its booking record, so the tech shows up knowing exactly what's wrong and what's already paid.

What was built: Nemotron-powered qualifier/closer agents (Nebius Token Factory), PayPal Smart Buttons deposit flow, SQLite bookings (pending → paid), owner dashboard with deposit status, MIT licensed public repo.
