How it started!
The recent innovations in generative AI unfortunately hurted many artists, and created a lot of misery. Despite this, I believe that AI will create new modalities for art that were not possible before.
As a case-study of the above, I created a book buddy, an AI-augmented reading experience, where you can stop on any page of the book and talk to one of the characters of it, while making sure that the character feels exactly like they are supposed to, and know as much about the story as you do as a reader.
What's next?
I am confident that new forms of art will slowly emerge over the next 1-2 decades, and will either create an entire new market with BookBuddy, or slowly build and wait until the market ripens to enter it fully-armed.
This means that I'll build out the project, and in case of receiving funding, or hiring an excited co-founder or founding team member, I'll dedicate my primary focus to it, otherwise I'll build it out enough to be enjoyable as a product, but not worry about maintaining and improving it.
